   Birder enjoying the view Festival headquarters is located at Central Elementary School. See Events for information about location and fees.
   Please note that some events are free and others have a fee and require registration. To register for an event, complete and mail in the registration form. Fees must be paid at time of registration.


Friday, May 2

7:00am - 3:00pm Festival Information and Registration for fee events. Grays Harbor NWR Office on Airport Way.
9:00am - 4:00pm Field trip to Tokeland, Grayland and Westport. Meet at Grays Harbor NWR Office, Airport Way. $35 registration fee.
9:30am - 1:30pm

Best shorebird viewing at Grays Harbor NWR (on own). High tide is at 11:30am. Volunteers with scopes on Sandpiper Trail. Free.

10:00am - 4:00pm Field trip to Ocean Shores. Meet at Grays Harbor NWR Office, Airport Way. $25 registration fee.
10:00 - 12 noon Guided birdwalk at Grays Harbor NWR. Meet at Refuge Kiosk on Airport Way. Free.
4:00pm - 7:00pm Festival Information and Registration for fee events. Festival Headquarters.

7:00pm - 9:00pm

Dessert Reception at 7pm followed by the keynote at 7:30pm

Keynote Speaker and Dessert Reception. Listening to the Birds: Seabird Ecology and Conservation in the Pacific Northwest. $15 registration fee.


  
Saturday, May 3

6:30am - 5:00pm Festival Information and Registration for fee events. Festival Headquarters.
8:00am - 2:00pm Field trip to Point Grenville. $30 registration fee.
8:00am - 2:00pm Field trip to Lake Quinault and Rain Forest. $25 registration fee.

Field Trip - In Search of Coastal Raptors. $20 registration fee.
9:00am - 10:00am Lecture. Shorebird Identification.
$10 registration fee.
9:00am - 10:30am

Shorebird Festival Run at Hoquiam Train Depot. Registration required.

9:00am - 5:00pm

Birder's Bazaar at Festival Headquarters.

10:00am - 5:00pm Nature Fun Fair at Festival Headquarters. Great for families! Free.
10:00am - 4:00pm Field trip to Westport. $25 registration fee.
10:00am - 4:00pm Field trip to Ocean Shores. $25 registration fee.
10:00am - 4:00pm Shuttle Bus will run continuously between Festival Headquarters and the Sandpiper Trail at Grays Harbor NWR. Free.
10:30am - 2:30pm Field Trip - Shorebirds for Beginners. $15 registration fee.
10:30am - 2:30pm Best shorebird viewing at Grays Harbor NWR (on own). High tide is at 12:30pm. Volunteers with scopes on Sandpiper Trail. Free.
1:30pm - 2:30pm Shorebird Festival Poster Contest Awards Ceremony. Festival Headquarters. Free.

5:00pm - 6:00pm

.Social Hour with no host wine and beer at the Elks in Hoquiam prior to banquet.

6:00pm - 9:00pm Banquet with Live Auction, and at the Elks in Hoquiam $20 pre-registration or $22 at the door.
