Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival

Activities

Bird Viewing -This is a resource for folks to see what areas they may visit to view shorebirds around Grays Harbor County!
Family Activities - Crafts, activities, videos and more!
StoryMaps -Two interactive resources to further your knowledge of Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) and how birds are studied by scientists. An Incredible Journey is a guide to Grays Harbor NWR and the Shorebird and Nature Festival. MOTUS gives a summary of how data can be collected from birds using radio telemetry!
Presentations -This year, the festival includes presentations to learn more about winged species.
Poster Contest - Each year, 1st-6th graders in Grays Harbor County submit posters depicting North American shorebirds for the Shorebird and Nature Festival Poster Contest. Place winners are chosen from each grade; the Best of Show is selected from the first place winners. The Best of Show artwork is used in next year's festival publicity.
Marketplace -A list of businesses who have supported the festival in the past and have tools to help all individuals get out into nature!
